Jump Scare Factory is the horror production company created and operated by Kyle Tague, a Los Angeles filmmaker and lover of small dogs.

Kyle is a writer, director, and editor who has produced numerous digital horror shorts available to view on this website. His feature screenplay Follow Her was featured in The Hollywood Reporter as part of its recognition in the A-List Competition. His feature screenplay The Phantom Limb was recently optioned by Stag Pictures and is currently in active development.

Kyle studied Film & Television at Boston University’s College of Communication, graduating with honors in 2016. While in Boston, he refined his directorial craft producing genre plays with the venerable Stage Troupe theater group.

Since graduating, Kyle has lived in Los Angeles and worked professionally with Weed Road Pictures, Blumhouse Productions, Lionsgate Television, Universal 1440 Entertainment, and The Black List. He also has served as Creative Design Manager for RHETROACTIVE, a themed entertainment services company that counts 20th Century FOX, NBC Universal, and Discovery Networks among its clients.

Horror has long been Kyle’s primary genre, arguably ever since a premature viewing of Psycho transformed his young mind’s perception of the safety of showers. His primary genre influences include Guillermo Del Toro, James Whale, John Carpenter, James Wan, Karyn Kusama, and Alfred Hitchcock.
